We are happy to announce that as of July 2014, punker is an official member of the Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA), an independent, international not-for-profit organization that develops, specifies and monitors standards and certifications for ventilation technology devices and applications. EVIA (European valves Industry Association) is the umbrella organization of the European ventilation industry, founded in July 2010.

At the beginning of 2011, the largest European ventilator manufacturers met in Brussels with the aim of founding a representation entity of the European ventilation industry. After comprehensive discussions and careful consideration of  different possibilities, the majority of the participants came to the conclusion that a suitable body for this task can be found at EVIA. One of the main priorities is for the industry to participate in the development of relevant European regulations, for example the Eco-Design Directive ErP (Energy-Related Products). To achieve this, the standardization activities are to be intensified in a target-oriented way and the political communication is to be expanded.
