VDMA

The VDMA (Verband Deutscher Maschinen- und Anlagenbau e.V.) is one of the most important association service providers and offers the largest sector network of the capital goods industry in Europe. It represents more than 3,000 primarily medium-sized member companies in the capital goods industry and is thus one of the industrial associations with the largest number of members and the most important. punker has been a member company of the General Air Technology Section since June 1990. EVIA

EVIA (European Ventilation Industry Association) is the umbrella organization of the European ventilation industry founded in July 2010.

At the beginning of 2011, the largest European fan manufacturers met in Brussels with the aim of establishing a representative body for the European fan industry. After intensive discussion and consideration of the various possibilities, the majority of the participants were of the opinion that the appropriate framework conditions should be found within EVIA. The primary objective is to play an active role in shaping the relevant European regulations, such as the Ecodesign Directive ErP (Energy related Products). To this end, standardization activities are to be intensified in a targeted manner and political communication is to be expanded. For further information visit www.evia.eu

AMCA

The Air Movement and Control Association International, Inc. (AMCA) is an independent, international and non-commercial organization that develops, establishes and monitors standards and certifications for air handling equipment and applications. It is headquartered in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  Air handling applications certified by AMCA primarily include fans, ventilators, and air curtains, as well as air measurement stations and laboratory test benches for measuring air and sound performance, for example. The organization sees its mission as promoting the growth of the air handling applications industry and reconciling it with the public interest. This includes assisting manufacturers in developing and complying with test methods for product certification, as well as representative tasks that affect the industry.
