Our material groups
Raw material
For the production of punker fan wheels, inlet nozzles and customer-specific attachments, punker GmbH in Eckernförde processes several thousand tons of steel, aluminum and stainless steel every year. In order to be able to offer our more than 1,000 customers worldwide products on the agreed delivery dates with consistently high quality, we work together with partners who stand for a high degree of adherence to delivery dates and constant innovative spirit. In the area of raw materials, punker GmbH processes the following materials:
- Sheet and slit strip in steel, aluminum and stainless steel (NiRo)
- Bar stock in steel, aluminum and stainless steel (NiRo)

Surface finishing
In order to ensure the resistance of punker fan wheels to even the toughest environmental influences and mechanical stresses and to be able to supply our customers with products in line with their individual brand image, they are finished after the assembly process, depending on the customer application. punker counts on the expertise of high-performance partners who offer the following services:

Forming and machining technology
A high degree of vertical integration sets punker GmbH apart from its market competitors. The in- house toolmaking department develops and builds tools for punching and forming parts as well as individual automatic machines and complete assembly islands for the production of punker fan impellers. In addition, punker's machining department manufactures, among other things, hubs for the wheel-motor connection of our products. In individual cases, punker procures the following goods from the forming and machining technology sector:
- Turned parts and milled parts in steel, aluminum and stainless steel (NiRo)
- folded parts, bent parts and spinning parts
- Castings and forgings
